Just a little update to let everyone know where the blanket is and the last few places it needs to go!
Right now the blanket is hanging out at Taylor's place (She got it during the holiday season, so naturally it wasn't a huge priority) and is doing well. It should be finished fairly soon, and on it's way to the last few places. Here are the last few destinations it needs to go.
Rachel
Kyle
Then back to me!
I hadn't really realized how close we were to finishing! I can't wait to see how it turns out.
Hope all is well with your projects!

Look over to the sidebar for links to blogs and information. Also, feel free to post here and introduce yourself. Especially if you don't have a blog.
I've had some questions about yarn selection. The main thing is that it is washable. It can be machine wash lay flat to dry. You can knit your piece now and connect it when you get it or wait to be inspired on arrival.
I would love if the blankets journey was documented here. Show it off in your home or at a local sight. It'll be exciting to see it grow.
I'll be sending the first piece off at the beginning of next week. Feel free to ask more questions either by e-mail or on this blog.

Charity Blanket Swap Details
Information about the swap;
Please take the button on the side bar and share it. The more people we have, the more fun this will be!
- To sign up e-mail me at vlnjodie[at]hotmail[dot]com. Include your name, address, and blog address if you have one.
- The swap part of this will be a small commitment. Just a little something fun, such as a skein of yarn and some chocolate. This won’t be a secret swap so you’ll know where it’s going and where it is coming from.
- Each person will attach a piece of a blanket. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a square. You can do anything you want and any size you want. The only stipulation is that it is attached before you send it to the next person.
- The blanket will be going to the Children’s Cancer Fund of New Mexico. This is where I got my chemo treatment when I was 13. If we have enough people to do two blankets, then I will be open for suggestions for another place.
- Sign ups will start today and end April 1st.
